A weekend away at The Monkey Tree Hotel
If I didn't have to leave, I wouldn't have.
I have no words to describe how I felt during my stay at The Monkey Tree Hotel. I kept losing track of time, forgetting that an outside world existed, and that I was not in Palm Springs to lounge by a pool all day but to go to the musical festival, Coachella. Was my stay at The Monkey Tree hotel what it's like to be in bliss?
Although I'm not completely sure what it even means to be in bliss, I do believe that The Monkey Tree Hotel gives you the opportunity to experience it.
When I first stepped on to the grounds of The Monkey Tree hotel, I had to ask my friend if we were in the 60's or if it was 2017. The boutique hotel, which was originally designed in 1960 by Albert Frey, has been given the perfect amount of TLC over the years, still allowing you to feel as if you have stepped in a time machine and have gone back to America's 1960's. Current owners, Gary and Kathleen Friedle, have created a destination for vacationers who are looking for a clean, spacious, trendsetting, home-away-from-home (with delicious breakfast) relaxing getaway and you definitely get that.
The Monkey Tree Hotel is the perfect place to monkey around!
